| We took a walk in Borrowdale around the village of Grange. We walked up into the fields above the village followed by the sound of a cuckoo. From a well positioned stone bench, we could see Derwentwater and the mountains to the north of the lake, including Skiddaw. We had lunch at a tea shop in Grange by a stone bridge over the River Derwent. | |
