Dad and Pat drove out from Chicago for a visit at the end of May (we
kidnapped Dad to help us work on the house). We took advantage of a
beautiful sunny afternoon to take them for a walk in
Marsh Billings
Rockefeller park, one of our favorite walks. The trees were just
beginning to leaf and there were purple trillium scattered on the light
speckled forest floor. The view from Mount Tom is always pretty; it's
like looking down on a New England train set. |
