Bryce Canyon, "a helluva place to lose a cow" and one of the most unusual and impressive demonstrations of erosion in the world.  You look down from the rim and wonder how any path can navigate through the maze of Hoodoos below.

We also visited Kodachrome State Park which contains lots of sand pipes.  These are the sedimentary deposits from ancient geysers that have eroded much more slowly than the surrounding rock..
