We had a nice relaxing Christmas, just the two of us at home - a bit different from the crazy traveling we have been doing for the last few years.

After pancakes we opened presents by the Christmas Tree we chopped down.

We made roast duck for dinner, accompanied by butternut squash crumble.

After dinner we made a fire and then had cheese and crackers and port.

And of course, we can't forget the mince pies and cookies that Alyssa spent most of December making.
