In March we literally went from snowshoeing one day to walking in the dessert the next.  While out in California for Carrie and Ben's wedding, we went to Joshua Tree National Park.  The Joshua Trees almost look as if they have been planted, like in an orchard.  The park is beautiful and the landscape changes from large areas of Joshua Trees to impressive rock formations to fields of cacti.  The warm sun was a nice break from the snow too.
