Our adventurous journey began in Headcorn in the middle of Kent's orchards and oast houses.

After eating our sandwiches overlooking the castle we went inside for a tour, looking very silly in partial cycling clothes. There's Colin to the right at the Sundial. The weather couldn't have been more perfect as we cycled along the country lanes back to Headcorn. The countryside in Kent is beautiful, like you would see in a travel brochure. The North Downs on are the horizon in the picture of me below. In the picture of Colin in the field and the one of him by the white fence, you can see oast houses in the background.
