January in New Hampshire was dominated by the primary to select the Democratic nominee for the presidential election later this year.  Howard Dean was the front runner in the polls for a long time, but John Kerry, after he won the Iowa caucuses, overtook Governor Dean and went on to win the vote. 

We were caught on camera by the Valley News when Senator Kerry visited Dartmouth College just a couple of days before the primary.
