The Vermont City Marathon took place on May 31, 2004. It was a lovely sunny day with a gentle breeze off Lake Champlain.

Two teams from RSG took part in the relay, with Colin running a 6.2 mile leg for the men's team. The guy's finished in 57th, running a 3:11 marathon. The girls ran it in 3:50, while Jer who did all of it on his own took just over 4 hours.

It was a fun day and a good final preparation for the Covered Bridges Half Marathon on June 6.

After "enjoying" the Covered Bridges (and beating his target time of 90 minutes), Colin raced in the Skip Matthews Memorial 4 Mile Race that started on the Green in Lebanon (right).

And of course we can't leave out cycling.  Colin raced in the Vermont 50 mountain biking event with Doug and John.

In November, Colin and Alyssa's cousin Colleen ran in the Murphy Morse Memorial Race in Windsor, Vermont.  Since then, Colin has run in a 10k in Hanover and a 5k in the freezing rain and snow, aptly called the Reindeer Run.
